    xcopy

Can I copy my hard drive to another hard drive as I dont want to lose all of my files and if so how can I go about it.
I was thinking about taking the hard drive out that I already have formatted and putting it in as my slave removable drive or D: and copying the files over that way.

Depending on the version of XCOPY you have, you can do a pretty good job of transferring everything-- but long filenames will be lost.

There is a program called xxcopy ( http://www.xxcopy.com/index.html ) that may prove better for you.
