[RESOLVED] How do I get rid of old Java plug-in icon in Control Panel?
My system uses Windows XP Home Edition, broadband Internet, MSIE 7.0, Netscape 6.0, Java 6.0.
I noticed that in Control Panel, there are two icons: one is Java (control panel) and Java Plug-in 1.3.1_02. How can I remove the old version plug-in? Does its appearance have something to do with my inability to upload files to Xdrive?
Thanks.

Remove it in Add/Remove?
(Click Start | Run, type appwiz.cpl and press [Enter]).

The file for this icon doesn't appear in Add/Delete programs under Control Panel. But I found the answer to the problem: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/cpicon.htm
Thanks anyway.
