Problems running Network Config on NT 4.0

I've got NT loaded with sp6a IE 6.1 but when I try to configure the network settings it finds my Nic no problem and I choose my protocol and services with no problem but then it prompts for Windows NT files. I have the setup disk in CDrom and have tried typing in all sorts of paths. It won't let me browse to a path. Also D:/i386 doesn't work. Which is the common path. I've also tried the startup disks since the default path in the box is A:/ . Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're actually typing what you wrote above, it's no wonder it can't find the files - the path is D:\i386 (backslash). There's nothing useful on the startup disks - they just set up a basic NT environment for the O/S install.
Anyone can make a mistake - to make a really good job of it use a computer.
