mem prob
I have a problem when i try to run a certin game in DOS.
It tells me i need 560k of free memory and that im 35664 bytes
short.
I really dont thank this is true.I have well over 300Mb of ram in
my mother board and my system dose recognize this.
I feel that I to add something in the cofig file or some thing for
DOS to read more mem.

See Optimizing DOS. Depending on which operating system you are running on, there may be nothing in the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT files if you are using Windows 95 and later. If you add to these files, it might be better to add Boot Menus so that you can optimize memory when you run a DOS program, but maintain your original settings when you run Windows.
If you are running devices such as a CDROM, the drivers may not be set to run in high memory. The above pages will help you fix that. DOS uses three memory methods;
Conventional which uses the first 640kb. This is common to virtually all DOS base computers. This is what you program is launching into.
Upper memory which is controlled by the HIMEM.SYS file and is the memory up to 1 mb less the 640 conventional memory. The total of these two, in other words, 1mb, is all that is available regardless of how much memory you have installed.
Extended Memory which is everything above the 1mb used by the other two. This memory is controlled by the EMM386.EXE program or an equivalent. Most older DOS programs do not use this memory.
