    Question Novell Perfect Works conversion....

I'm looking to convert Perfect Works into Office 2003 - does anyone have experience with this? Is it possible?

Wow. That's a blast from the past

Novell Perfect Works was stopped way back and the app was sold to another company that went out of business.

Trying to accomplish this would require use of code that one would have to write in order to do conversions etc. And seeing as this app never took off, and isn't in use. I can't see it happening.

Maybe brush up on your coding and give it a shot

If you have the installation disc for Perfect Works and access to a computer with Windows XP, it will install on that computer. If not, here's how I converted my Perfect Works word processor files on a Windows 10 computer:

    * Perfect Works word processor files (*.wpw) will open in Notepad. Then:

    * Format > word wrap. You will see a lot of "code," followed by the text of the document, all run together.

    * Select the text portion only, then: Edit > copy. Paste into a blank MS Word document (this may take several tries).

Word will display the text nicely paragraphed - but without bolds, italics, underlines, etc. You can then edit/save/print the document.
