    Freeze up!!

    Hi folks! Just recently i've been getting this problem.Occasionally when trying to close a window/folder etc. it will stay on the desktop for about 230/30 secs before clearing! Any ideas would be gratefully received. (win 98)

    Might take a look and see how much is running in the background that you do not know about.

    As it sounds like the cpu is busy with other things and that would delay you close out.

    Take look at your resourses, are they where they normally should be?
