slow to post?
I have a older computer that will always be slow to post when starting from cold start. The fans start but nothing else and then about 30 seconds later I hear a ticking sound and then it boots
If shut down and restarted within a few minutes it starts fine.Once it is running it is fine.
It is a duron 1.2 on a biostar M7VKQ
I tried a different Hard drive, still the same.
I disabled the nic, same
I added a vid card, same
I tried a different power supply, same
Out of ideas here, anyone got any more

It is the way that board is! Normal behavior. It's no big deal really but if it drives you up the wall shut it down in hibernation mode!
If it ain't broke, you arn't trying hard enough!!
