    INSTALLATION OF WIN 95

    Thank You for your patience in advance.

    I have partitioned and reformatting my hard disk. I used large disk capapcity and only one drive (of course) c:.

    I have re-installed win 95 over and over. Everything istalls correctly but at reboot when the computer is updating configuration files and continuing to load windows....that's all i get. it hangs.

    Two things we need to know.

    1. Is it Win 95 "B" (OSR2) version?
    2. Do you have a AMD processor 350MHZ or faster?

    1. YES WIN 95 PLUS WITH USB SUPPORT
    2. INTELL PII 233mhz (GATEWAY PURCHASED IN DEC 1997)

    I think it may be trying to load a driver and is choking on it
    Reformat the drive
    Take all the cards out of the system except video. Try it then
    If that works add the peripheral cards one at a time & load the drivers. Do the sound next & the modem last
