    Question Odd Thing upon restart

I recently noticed that upon restarting my computer...every time, the system says...roughly quoted "Please wait while your system configurations are updated."

windows then fully starts up fine. it's like I changed something or installed a program that requires a restart. Again, it does this every time.

Alone that wouldn't bother me, but System Restore tells me now that it can be run and that I have to restart my system. I do that and still...the same thing, over and over.

I believe it's all related to McAffee as it performed an update recently.

can you help me figure out how to reactive System Restore? I've not had a problem in the past.

    thanks.

    Arrow RE: Trouble Shooting

If you've not recently paid Mcaffee for another year of subscription updates, well maybe even if you have,, get free AntiVir from H+BEDV then uninstall McCheapie (Mcaffee) (and all Mcaffee products) in the Add/Remove Programs control panel and restart your computer then install AntiVir.

Often Mcaffee, and other third-party non-microsoft vertified software, interfere with Windows and its operations.
I apologise for stating something you already know.
