Internet Zone (mixed) ?
... in the bottom right corner of my browser. I saw this message tonight while surfing around another (trustworthy) site which I've used many times. When I've been back to the site, it just shows up as "Internet" as most sites do, so I was wondering if anyone can tell me exactly what this means, and perhaps why it might have appeared just once and not since? I know that "Unknown Zone" shows when I first go online and as my home page is first downloading, but I wondered what it means with the "mixed" suffix? anything to worry about? I just like to know what these things mean.
The page seemed to have downloaded fully, and even when I used the back button it still displayed this "mixed" message.
I run a firewall, AV, anti-spyware etc. There are no sites in my trusted zone.
Thanks in advance for any replies,
Dazza.

dazza001--I think it means that parts of the webpage are in one Zone, part in another (probably a linked part). For explanation of Zones (depending on your versions of IE and Windows)
http://www.nwnetworks.com/iezones.htm
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/tre...s/zone_ovr.asp
http://tweakcentral.com/s002.htm
You might also look into IE Help, and type in Security Zone in the Index tab
