well it's a throw together,a Compaq presario,model? 200 mgz,pentium,with a Packard Bell 1511sl monitor, appears to be loaded with a s3 trio64v2-dx-gx vidio card.It will only display at 16 colors, 256 and 16 bit are offered but does not come up after restart. Also under "advanced" I checked the box for no restart after change but it still comes up for restart. what can I do to get my colors ? damn it won't let me get onto the web because the server requires at least 256. please help thank you....
