.386 and .VXD-files missing.
I have a problem with some files I miss on
my computer. I have
lost vnetbios.vxd wshell.vxd pagefile.vxdblockdev.vxd vfd.vxd cdpscsi.vxd
AND
vtdapi.386 vcomm.386
now when he turns on the computer, he gettons of missing file messages and win95 runs <BR>in a sort of filemanager mode. does anyone know where these files could be downloaded and if recopying them to the indicated directories will fix the problem? Best wishes: Tarjei Joten Svensen (17)

Reinstall W95 in order to restore those files; however, if you also have Internet Explorer 4.01 go first to the Add\Remove Programs list and remove IE4.01 first. After you have reinstalled W95, go to the folder in Explorer called Internet Explorer 4 and run the setup.exe from there to reinstall IE4.01 unless you have it on disk..if you do, the install will go alot faster using the disk instead. All of your personal settings, email, and address book will still be intact except for a few minor changes you will have to redo.
