WNET286.dll deletion mistake correction?
While running my virus check and it showed some .dll files which I figured I didn't need taking up memory I deleted WNET286.dlkl. That was a bad mistake, and because I got Internet Explorer for Windows 3.1 to use it will not work any more. It shows the message that this file can't be found. And that comes up as I turn the pc on and Windows starts. The Question reason I'm typing this is what needs to be re-installed?

Hey Sportster,
Well it sounds like you have to find a copy of Internet Explorer you have now and reinstall it.
Go to a site like www.tucows.com and get a copy. Then you need to find a way to transfer it from the computer your using now to the problem machine. Maybe you can burn it on a CD, or put it in a folder, then zip it, then span it over a couple floppies.
Others may have more ideas.
