urgent, canon printer and xp..

HI..
i just installed xp, and i have a canon multipass c5500, and it will not work in xp..is their new drivers anyone knows off..i've looked already, and couldn't find any..i've reinstalled the cd, and it won't work..
i need help bad..big project due tomorrow, and need to print..
please help!

I have a multipass C555
and they didn't release drivers until the 30th Oct
So when I saw there was an update... I got really happy
So I downloaded it (30Mb) and after it was done the software (drivers) were corrupt
I got other people to download it and they have the same problem

Canon pissed me off

It will definately be the last thing I buy from Canon

I also have a Canon C5500 but there is no new XP driver available yet. At first it was promised in October but as of today it just says at a later date. See this site for info:http://consumer.usa.canon.com/winxp.html

I have a cannon printer/fax machine and had a similar problem. So I just download and am using the windows 2000 driver and it seems to be wroking fine for me.Just a thought.
