I tried to update the present version as instructed in the MS link for genuine.
It refused with error.
So,yr observation is correct i conclude.
But what i cannot understand is that in the past ,after joining this Forum,i had downloaded all the versions of Antivirus , saved & used for more than three yrs successfully.

When so,why the problem now.

Any how,i will buy a New one & revert.
