Okay I thought it was gone but its back! When I logged into Chrome and all of my extensions came back, the MIXDJ window popped open as well as a tab for MSN. Why is that?

    Uninstall Chrome...

    1. Close all Chrome windows and tabs.
    2. Go to the Start menu > Control Panel. (Windows 8 users: Learn how to access the Control Panel)
    3. Click Programs and Features.
    4. Double-click Google Chrome.
    5. Click Uninstall from the confirmation dialog. Delete your user profile information, like your browser preferences, bookmarks, and history, by selecting the "Also delete your browsing data" checkbox.

    Install fresh copy.

Okay I did that and reinstalled a new copy. The second I signed into Chrome again and all my extensions loaded it came back. This is a nightmare!

    Most likely you didn't...
Delete your user profile information, like your browser preferences, bookmarks, and history, by selecting the "Also delete your browsing data" checkbox.
If you did there should be no extensions.

I think I see what happened. In Chrome, I did not change my personal settings and on startup it was still pulling up the mixidj search page. I got rid of that and it seems to be working. While this was happening I went to my other laptop that I have and the Mixidj search pulled up in the Google tabs. How do I know if the virus has been completely removed from both computers?

    This computer is clean.
If you want to check another computer you need to create new topic.

    Good luck and stay safe
