    Resolved [RESOLVED] Application problems after upgrading to Windows 8

    After installing win 8 on my HP 5210, I find my knowledge of computers to be a failure. I had Win 7 and did not check to see if Win 8 was going to be a problem, installing on this HP. I can not start the progs like MSN or even get to the HTTP. Any suggestions. Only progs that were installed after installing win 8 will work.

    I created a new thread for your issue, since this is a different issue.

    I can not start the progs like MSN or even get to the HTTP
    Does this mean you have problems with the browser? Did you check the Device Manager to make sure the network card is working properly?

    If anything, you can try reinstalling the apps that are having problems. You should also check the manufacturer's site to see if there are patches/fixes.
