Sun Java
I have an HP Laptop with Windows 7. I use Firefox Browser and the Internet requires Java; and I watch updates of all products Secunia PSI. For sometime I have seen Sun Java wanting updates & I try to update these. They always want updated. I have done so, but it still needs updated. Recently, I installed Java 7. I am wondering if I should I un-install Version 6? I have 32 bit & 64 bit for Version 6. Would this eliminate the problem because it states it is "Insecure" and whether I need Version 6 since I have Version 7?

It depends on the application you are running. Some apps might still require Java6, so you could update that to the latest update. Or you could just uninstall Java6 and see if anything breaks. Your call.
