Need a new motherboard
I need help! I need to replace my motherboard. I am not sure what to look for. I have a Pegatron M2N78-LA violet GL8E AM2 socket motherboard with an AMD Phenom quad-core 9750(AM2+) processor. The memory type is DDR2 DIMMS and I am running Win7. What motherboard will work with this CPU and memory? Where do I get it? Is there anything else I need to be concerned about?

Stated mobo was designed specifically for HP/Compaq.
Connections to chassis may very well be proprietary.
Due to high costs, around $180.00?
Not cost effective for direct mobo replacement.
Note that current mobos uses DDR3 so your DDR2 memory can't be used.
State budget for options.
Cheers.
