Do you see the same blank-screen problem if you boot from a *nix Live CD, (like Knoppix)? If so, the problem is not Windows.
Have you tried resetting the BIOS back to factory defaults?
I have not done a boot with a "nix" Live CD as I have not heard of it before now nor how to reset the BIOS to factory setting. But I have never updgrade or update my BIOS before.
If I reboot with a "nix" CD, would this mess up my current setting, etc ?
