    Infection: PUM.Hijack.StartMenu

I posted the below in the Intensive Care Unit and apparently, though inadvertently, crossed a line. I'm so sorry.

    Hewlett-Packard Presario CQ62 Notebook PC
    Notebook
    Win7 Home Premium
    2.20 gigahertz AMD V120
    128 kilobyte primary memory cache
    512 kilobyte secondary memory cache
    64-bit ready
    764 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory
Slot 'Bottom - Slot 1 (top)' is Empty
Slot 'Bottom - Slot 2 (under)' has 1024 MB
249.84 Gigabytes Usable Hard Drive Capacity

I ran Malwarebytes due to suspicious slowness and got the uploaded text document identifying the subject malware. I selected removal when offered the option.

Is this infection a bad one...should I do more? I want to install more memory, but might opt to wait until I have a clean system.

May I please have some advice, when convenient?

    Thanks as always,

    sbuxman

If the upload doesn't work, here is the contents of the malwarebytes scan in a .txt document"
