Resolved [RESOLVED] Dect 6.0 vs non Dect

I'm considering buying a Dect phone but I already have a nice corded phone with 2 add ons. The corded phone is AT&T and is non-dect. The add on's are Uniden also non-dect. . The Dect phone I'm considering is a Uniden which I intend to use as an additional add on. Will this configuration work, or is Dect a different beast?

    Thanks.

Your post is a bit hard to follow.... But if you're asking if you can add a cordless phone in a house that has standard phones then it shouldn't be a problem.

The cordless phone of course needs a base unit to send a signal to the cordless receiver/phone.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

You current setup probably operates on either 900 MHz or 2.4 GHz. DECT 6.0 is in the 1.9 GHz range.

As Steve says, as long as you have sufficient wall jacks to plug in the base units, you can mix and match wired, cordless analogue and DECT phones to your heart's content
