no, start-up is still incredibly slow.
But its always good to get rid of little infections.
Actually i ran Spybot search and destry before posting here and it "found and deleted" the pdfforge toolbar aswell? apparently not though.

Looks like MBA_M got pdfforge anyway. Spybot is not the tool it used to be, but malware is not what it used to be either.
With that slow startup, it could possibly be a hard drive problem too.
Something else you could try is to go in to msconfig and disable all startup entries and apply the setting then reboot to see if the startup speeds up.
