WORD macro
I want to write a macro for WORD 2003 (or WORD2007) that will allow me to define a hotkey that will type out a defined set of words. Can this be done within WORD or do I have to buy additional software (like MacroScheduler)?
I can’t tell from the WORD HELP whether or not WORD can do that simple job. I’d appreciate your advice.

Are there repetitive actions that you perform frequently and want to simplify? Need one button that will perform the actions of four or five different buttons? A macro can be a powerful tool, but it takes a bit of familiarity with Word 2007 to set one up and make it work for you. Watch these videos for some help creating, editing, and running a macro.

Some clarification please.
Do you want to be able to use a hotkey to activate a macro that enters text into a document, or do you want to create a macro that creates the hotkey association. The two tasks are quite different. If you want the former, then the link below might be helpful in setting up the hotkey definition.
