Broni: I am so crazy! I was so intent waiting for your next reply to see what else I needed to do that I didn't even notice the toolbar was gone!! I can't thank you enough for helping me to do this--it was driving me nuts.

Now I am afraid to download any more video downloaders for fear of not being able to uninstall them when I need to. And I really need a video downloader so that I can download the tutorials that I need. I went to Firefox's web site and they have lots of free video downloaders that I could download, but now I fear to download anything! Do you have one that you could recommend--hopefully one that is free and compatible with Firefox. The one I was considering that Firefox has is called, Video Search and Downloader 1.4.by Clipta and mainly because it claims to download just about any video on the web & not just only certain web sites like most downloaders state. This is one of the things it says:

Clipta’s downloader allows you to save any video you watch onto your computer in FLV format. The downloader is not restricted to any specific site and is able to download the content from everywhere on the internet, including the popular sites like YouTube, MySpace, Dailymotion, and Metacafe. What separates us from others is that our downloads are not limited to videos. Now you can download your favorite MP3's onto your computer!
Do you know anything about this recorder? I don't want to get in trouble again with getting a recorder that might give me the same problem that Freecorder did.

Thanks for all your help and advice!
    Sheila

I'm glad to see you happy

I'm not very familiar with video downloaders, but hopefully someone else will have some advice for you.

I will start a new thread and ask if anyone is familiar with the one I mentioned to you and what the pros and cons are. Someone else also may have a better suggestion.
Thanks Broni, you have been a life saver,
    Sheila
