No, no, no....there is no such thing as a "balanced" gaming PC, There is ONLY the bleeding-edge-of-technology, screaming banshee, "Warp 22...make it so", able to get 5,600 frames-per-second on Crysis, QUAD SLI with 456GB RAM, lit-up-like-a-Christmas-tree GAMING PC.
I thought everyone knew that.
Desktop: Intel i7 960 CPU @ 4.0GHz, EVGA Classified 4-Way SLI mobo, 12GB Corsair Dominator-GT 2000 DDR3 RAM, Crucial RealSSD C300 256GB Solid State Drive, Two WD 2TB SATA drives, 2x EVGA GTX 570 Superclocked graphics cards in SLI, Coolermaster HAF X full tower case, OCZ ZX 1250w PSU, Corsair H100 CPU Cooler
Laptop: MSI GT60-004US, 2x Seagate Momentus XT 750GB SSD Hybrid drives in RAID 0, 16GB DDR3 1600 RAM, GeForce 670M 3GB graphics card, Networks 'Killer' N-1103 WLAN card

AMD is looking a lot better than we would have thought.
Will need to re-read it, but I be getting closer to what I want.

Train; buy an AMD, you will find they are as good as any Intel for lotsa less bucks!

I am already using this one...but hats off to MSI for coming out with an enthusiast's board like that.

Nice one too! Are you running the 3x SLi?
I've read about problems with Evga boards course it could be builders errors too. Have you encountered any problems with them?

Wow...I missed your response on this one...sorry for rezzing an "old" thread, but for all its worth, I've been using EVGA boards for some time now and have NEVER had any problems with them...and if I did, EVGA has an excellent RMA program. I think a lot of those problems people have reported are probably a result of tinkering with the BIOS too much and/or not related to the mobo at all (hard drive boot manager bad, incompatible memory, etc., etc.).

Thanks for the response bistro. Good to know EVGA is a good board, since I am looking at building new in the next three months, I'll check them out.
