In your attachment above there is a "New Volume (F:)" highlighted on the right. When you click it, (drive F:), is there nothing listed in the right pane? (Maximize that window so you can see the details). For example, here's what I see in the right pane when I double-click the "DISE_BACKUP (E:)" on this computer:The "PQIMAGE" folder was created on "05/24/2005 09:06 AM".
If you still don't see anything, use CHKDSK to find out when the partition itself was created. Click Start | Run, type in:cmd /k chkdsk f:
and press [Enter]. For example, here's what I see here when I run that command against this computer's drive E::That second line tells me that "Volume DISE_BACKUP" was "created 05/24/2005 08:42 AM".
To get rid of your drive F: with Windows XP would require repartitioning the drive:Warning: This will erase everything on the drive.
