Increasing visability of text in an URL

I like to increase the visability of text I get on web pages – - for example, the articles I get when I click the headlines on Yahoo. Right now, using Mozilla, I find it helps to click View/TextSize/Increase two times; This displays the article in larger font and in BOLD, making it much easier to read.iz

I would like my normal (default) settings to display web pages at that enhanced setting, so I do not have to go through the View/TextSize/Increase process each time I log on. So far I have tried Tools/Options/Content … but without success.

Can someone please help me here?

What is the font and size one gets by going to View/TextSize/Increase two times? How can I determine that?

    Several options:
    1. Not permanently - CTRL + "+", or CTRL + scroll up mouse wheel, to increase fonts
    2. Permanently:
    - No Squint add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2592 (NoSquint allows you to adjust the default text zoom level, and optionally remembers the level per site)
    - Tools>Options>Deafult font size is 16; set it to something bigger

You said you use "Mozilla". Do you mean SeaMonkey? Mozilla has not been supported for several years now. In SeaMonkey go to Preferences/Appearance/fonts and change the minimum font size to a large size. I have it set at 20. Then for the font choice use Verdana for Serif, Sans-Serif and Monospace. Verdana font is the easiest to read because of the spacing of the letters.

If you want urls in bold in the address bar so they are easier to read, both for 98 and XP right click on a blank space on the desktop, click on Properties/Display Properties/Advanced button. Then under Item choose Message Box. You can set the font to Verdana and I have 11 as the font size ...you can try different sizes and push the B button to bold it.
