PC has Pro Media Center Edition. I think the OEM disks say XP MCE 2005 (if you have ever seen an OEM MS disk you know some of the smaller print can be pretty hard to read).
Is there a way anyone knows of that will allow me to uninstall software by way of the task manager (no start button or icons to click on)?
Thanks again for all of your time and assistance.

In this case, you'll need Windows XP Pro Media Center CD with SP2 slipstreamed.

Once again, sorry for the delay. I did as you asked - the <insert choice word here> thing still is asking for CD2 - even when I put the second disk in. Do I need to slipstream SP2 into the second disk as well? I still cant start explorer. Am I doing something wrong?
One thing though, the progress meter made it almost to the end before asking for the second disk.

What second disk are we talking about?

I am not sure what CD2 "IT" is looking for but I am referring to the CD2 that has the Media Center plug in for XP on it.

Everytime I tried to integrate it on the second disk, it errored out. There are only 3 files in the i386 dir on CD2 and they are cab files that plug into XP to make it XP Media Center.
I am stuck!??

I don't think, you need to integrate it into 2nd disk.
What happens, if you simply put 2nd disk in?

I am not certain of the exact wording but it tells me that it is the wrong disk and asks for CD2 again.
One would think there has to be a "fix" for this issue - short of formatting, right?

I did some reading, and there are some reports about problems with integrating SP into Media Center CD.
I'll keep looking.
