I posted the below in the Intensive Care Unit and apparently, though inadvertently, crossed a line. I'm so sorry.

Hewlett-Packard Presario CQ62 Notebook PC

512 kilobyte secondary memory cache

Slot 'Bottom - Slot 2 (under)' has 1024 MB

I ran Malwarebytes due to suspicious slowness and got the uploaded text document identifying the subject malware. I selected removal when offered the option.

Is this infection a bad one...should I do more? I want to install more memory, but might opt to wait until I have a clean system.

May I please have some advice, when convenient?

Thanks as always,

sbuxman
