cd players for music on a cd-rw
which brand of cd player supports re-writable discs?
i need to know becos i want to burn some mp3 on a cd-rw so i can transfer the songs onto a cassette tape and reuse the cd-rw for more burning.
i have an old magnavox portable system that always says "no disk" when i try to play a cd-rw with burned music on it.
id like to know which players with dual cassette (or single, preferably dual) recording and cd-rom capabilities support the rewritable disc.

Just about any new you one you buy now supports cdrw, and it will be in the spec for any machine so it would be easy to find out.
Seeing the CDRs are only about 10p (aka 15c) why not just use them and throw them away afterwards, cheaper than buying a new CD player and save you a lot of time erasing and writing those clunky slow old CDRW's. Or you could hook your hifi up to the line out on your pc and record directly, without fussing with disks at all.
