[RESOLVED] Brother HL-2040 Printer Problems

I have never seen this to happen but lately it has been happening to wife's PC. She has the 3 line item to print and she hits the print button and the PC dies---shuts down. Could it be memory related or....? I am thinking about deleting the printer and use the printer CD and re-install it. As usual, TIA
BTW, it happened to me once on my Brother printer just 3 days ago. I have just removed and re-installed that AIO MFC-3240C.

First trick, uninstall, reboot and reinstall the printer.
Now test.

Thanks for the first trick Train. That is what I did except I did not reboot but so far, so good. I do very little printing but she does bunches. At first I thought her printer was backed up with printing requests when her PC shut down each time. I check her printing ques and such was not the case.
Will report back after a few days.
