SONY VAIO WIRELESS SWITCH
I have a sony vaio VGN-AR51J, my wireless was working fine until I turned it off the other day, now when I flip the switch back to the right [on] the wireless light does not come on??
the laptop cant find any wireless networks and when I trouble shoot it tells me the wireless switch is turned off!
I'm not that great with laptops but I've looked on the internet at some of the solutions people have tried with their wireless connection but none have worked for me!
is here anyway I can fix this myself or do I need a new switch?? help please!!!!
Thank you in advance

You might be able to fix the existing switch. The hard part would be taking the laptop apart.

The switch you see on the outside is usually just a cover for the real switch. I've see the switch cover break before. You can open up the laptop, remove the switch cover and then manually leave the wifi antenna on all the time. You can always disable it in device manager later.
