how do i jump in doom from one place to another?

(e.g. i can see an exit door but you have to jump accross if you walk or run forward you will fall on the floor below)

witch doom r u talking about if it is the old dooms then try to run (turbo) across to the door or look for a switch and the same goes for doom 3 but if u told me what game and level I can tell u what to do I have beat all the dooms

Aaaaaaa.......... Doom great games the oldest one was the best.... the skelton guys still give me creaps!! Plutoina here I come. Can you get into options and go to remap keys and see defualt setting?
