    Researcher Finds Flaws in XP SP2

    Hope this is now the appropriate place to post this. If not, feel free to move it to the XP forum.
    I really wanted to be the first noob to post here

    Already a bad start for MS. I guess this will mean that nothing has changed with SP2, and we wil continue to get regualr security warnings and updates

    Microsoft has replied that there is no real problem here.

    "Microsoft has investigated these reports and is not aware of any instance in which an attacker could specifically bypass the service in email or a web browser to allow a malicious attacker access to a user's system."

    Even if it isn't true, I'm sure a security flaw will be found sooner than later.
