runtime error
I've just installed an HP colorsmart 1115 printer. The printer works just fine but now
when I right click on the desktop I get a runtime error described as "abnormal program termination", when I click ok the desktop dissapears and the computer locks up. Also when I go to control panel and click on "Display" I get the same error. However when I click on ok, the computer does not lock up. I've uninstalled the printer software and these two problems disappear so the only conclusion I can reach is that there is some kind of software conflict.
Anyone have a solution of suggestions?

Use System Restore. You'll have to re-install the printer, but before you do anything rule out:
Get free Zone Alarm personal firewall anti-hacker countermeasure from http://www.zonelabs.com. (not the demo) Don't let anything out to the Internet you don't know what it is.
Update your antivirus, temporarily disable your screen saver and scan with your anti-virus set to scan All Files. Update and scan bi-monthly. Create your anti-virus' Rescue disk(s) and update them after each Windows anti-virus update.
You can scan on-line to double-check your Windows scanner at http://housecall.antivirus.com
To start System Restore, click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore. Or, in the Help and Support main screen, click Use System Restore under Fix a problem.
I apologise for stating something you already know.
