Open .cwk file in excel
How do I open .cwk files in excel in Windows. I think they are clarisworks on an Apple.

You're right. It is a clarisworks file. I don't believe Excel can open this. I checked under my excel and it doesn't have this extension in the list.
You might see if you can convert it with clarisworks as an excel file, but I can't remember how or if it's possible now. It's been years since I use a Mac.
I may have found an answer for you. Research says OpenOffice can open this file. I do not know because I uninstalled OpenOffice in favor of Office 2010 beta but you can try it and see if it will.

I don't see that format in my OO, but I found this proposal:
If you don't need to retain formatting, in Word try:
File -> Open -> In the "files of type" dropdown, choose "recover text from any file" and see where that gets you.
