    Resolved [RESOLVED] weird symbols in word document.

    Hi, I need help!! Please can someone help as i am applying for a job and whie filling my application form ...suddendly my word doc is displaying weird symbols everywhere. I am using window xp.

    Are you seeing this On-Line or on your local Word program?

    It sounds like a Font issue.

    Either the Document became corrupted or the font got really messed up.

    Does this only happen on one doc? If so, I'd guess it got currupted and hopefully you have a backup.

    Hi Steve thanks for replying! actually, these symbols were everywhere in all the documents. If i open a new doc, symbols like a reversed 'P' were on each paragraph... After trying anything and everything, i gave up!! and my poor geeky b/f got home after work and his simple solution was to press : shift and Ctrl + f8! Formating problem...!!!
    Its sorted!
