[RESOLVED] About wireless.

Here soon, my small rural town will have a 900MHZ wireless internet installed. I am extremely enthralled, but since I live about a mile out of town, I am a bit worried. There are a couple hills and trees between the tower and myself. I was informed that 900MHz can be broken up very easily by such.

My question is:
Is there a way that I can create or some company that sells some type of device that will allow me to capture 900MHz much easier or should I try to create a tower to put the receiver on? Any other ideas?

900MHz frequencies are able to penetrate foliage, but not earth and other solid obstructions and there is a distance limit of under two miles.
