HP PSC2210 printer 'alien' problems ?!?
Hello experts, I got a good one again I need your expert help on. I have the HP 2210 printer that just all of a sudden, without any warning or provacation started flashing all 4 buttons (FAX, COPY, PRINT, PHOTO CARD) and an error message began scrolling across the dial ' INCORRECT RIGHT CARTIRIDGE'. There is no apparent reason why this randomly did this I cannot get it to change that status even when changing cartridges (the original one was about half full...NOT empty). I cannot find any help from HP and have read a few entries on forums that have problems similiar to mine, but not exactly...most believing it is a 'conspiricy' from HP to force new printer sales. This printer was obviously a dud from the factory after reading all the negative blogs. Any ideas or help before I punt kick this into eternity???? Thanks

Have you tried installing the firmware update HP suggests might fix this problem? The link for the firmware is below:

could also be a bad inkjet pump. I had an epson cx5200 and it wouldn't print black. I changed the cartridge twice, aligned the cartridge and cleaned it, but still it didn't print black. I had it serviced and the authorized dealer said that it was a bad pump.
