JPG files and associated info

I am trying to remove some info from non-copyrighted pictures I took with mySony digital cameras. I am trying to do a blinded comparison for my friend as he is debating between 2 cameras. Although I can change the name of the file, after I place the cursor over the file, windows tells you which camera and date I took the pic on (the little info box pops up over it). Can I erase this info so that he can get a non-biased comparison of the quality of the 2 cameras?

Thought it would. I remembered seeing it a few years ago when I was searching for ways to reduce space on a small storage hard drive.
