Is there any way of diagnosin a floppy drive?
Dudes:
I can't believe this many floppies are not recognized, can't be formatted, please insert a disk into drive a:\ Windows cannot format this disk, disk is write protected.
Admittedly, they're 8 years old but they don't have freshness dataing...
Can the drive be tested - other than by sticking 30 floppies into it.

WHY is my AC blowing like a fan when it blew like a fridge yesterday and
HOW did Thomas Crown fold that painting into that suitcase with the frame still on it!?
Does he take me entirely for a Windsor!?

Dude:
After reading all that I think I have the kind of floppies my dog thinks I have. He doesn't mind chewing them and that's probably all they're worth.
In fact, CD's are probably cheaper now? I bought my last 100 for $30 - 33.3 (recurring) cents each.
Thanks - rev
When Thomas Crown takes the painting out of the suitcase, the frame is perfectly intact and has no hinges.
