    dealing with wireless land line..

my girlfriend will be having a wireless land line..and we are planning to have a dial up internet in their home...we cant afford dsl or broadband because it's costly..now..we're wondering if we can have a dial up connection using that wireless land line..we dont have the manual for that wireless land line...im wondering if that wireless unit can be connected to a 56 kbps modem..

i notice that there's a serial db9F port on the wireless land line..im wondering if that serial port can be connected to the rj 45 of the 56 kbps modem to have an internet since there's a serail rj45 adapter available in the market...is that serial port on the wireless unit for dial up capability?

Very possibly. Post the make and model of that rig.

Maybe we can find out what that RS232 port was designed for.

That is what we need the make and model of. So we can see what can be found out about it.

Whereabouts do you live? In some parts of the world there are now some alternatives to fixed-line broadband that are quite reasonably priced.

    wireless land line
    Hmm?
A cordless phone transmitting to a landline base?
A cellular phone replacing a land line?
    Or?

A telephone landline is a solid medium, a cable, usually either metal wire and/or optical fibre. It connects the end user's telephone to their telephone service provider.

A wireless communication device that uses airwaves to connect to their service provider has no need for a landline.
