Outlook Express offline

To work offline, I click my Outlook Express shortcut icon on the desktop, then click "Cancel" when the automatic dial window shows, then click "Work Offline" in the next window. Is there a quicker way to bypass the automatic dialer and go directly to offline status without completely disabling the automatic dial feature?

You could try this:
Tools>Options
General tab

There should be a setting:
If my computer is not connected at this time:
Set it to "Do not connect"

If that doesn't work, disable
"Send and receive messages at startup"
