Suppressing email address in Mass mailing

Hi all, I'm using Outlook express and currently I'm doing a project that requires mass mailing.

How do I keep the confidentiality of the recipients, i.e. by hiding their email adresses from others and yet able to reply me at my address?

    Thanks!

One way to do it would be to put your email address in the To: field, and then all their email addresses in the BCC: (Blind Carbon Copy) field.

Let's say I want to send to "ABC", "CDE" and "EFG", so I put their email in the 'To' then put the same addresses in the 'BCC'? Is that right?

    Thanks alot!

All of the email addresses you put in the To: field will be seen by everyone receiving the email.

All of the email addresses you put in the BCC: field will not be seen by anyone.

Vernon is saying to put your own email address in the To field: For example if your email is joe@smurf.com, then that would go in the To field, all other addresses would go in the BCC field. The only address the others will see is your address. So what you would have is:

    From joe@smurf.com

    To joe@smurf.com

    BCC: a;b;c;d;e;f

Vernon if this is not correct please correct me.
