    Sending file from pc to mac?

    I've got a PC and my friend has got a MAC, my question is what format do I send a photo, I sent him a JPG image saved in Paint Shop Pro and he could'nt open it.
    Any idea's?

    One format that you can use is PICT (file will have pct extension). Another might be PIC format (extension pic).

    Hi GiZzie,

    I don't use the mac but you might tell him to try opening the JPG file with his web browser. Browsers on windows platforms can open jpg and gifs.

    If you have Paint Shop Pro then it can save files in those formats. Just open the JPG and then resave (save as) it as another file in the desired format.

    Have your friend install QuickTime. That should solve the problem without the need for file conversion. Worked between my PC and a nieces Mac in Florida.
