    Setting Limits on an Excel Graph

    I have a set of data, which I want to enter in to Excel and create an Excel chart.

    The data set I am working with happens to be daily river stages for a 9 month period. All the values are in the range of 40 to 60 feet.

    How can I limit the range of the y-axis to the 40 to 60 feet range? Excel chart wizard wants to set the range 0 to 60 feet. As a result, my graph ends up being a line scunched up at the top of the graph with little definition on the Y-axis.

    Help on this would be greatly appreciated!

    It is not possible in the Wizard.
    Once you have created the graph, select the Y-axes (doubleclick) and go to the Scale tab.

    Minimum = 40
    Maximum = 60

    This will leave the checkboxes unchecked.

    That should do the trick.
