Netscape Bookmarks
I'm totally new to Netscape. Where are the bookmarks stored? Is it similar to the IE "Favorites" folder, so I can copy them to another user account? -tew

If you have Netscape 4.xx, they are at:
C:\Program Files\Netscape\Users\your user name\Bookmarks.htm
Don't know in Netscape 6.x

Netscape's 6.2 bookmarks.html file is located in:
C:\Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\yourusername\xxxxxxxx.slt

Thanks. BTW, for XP/2000 it's C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\default\xxxxxxxx.slt.
How do I edit the bookmarks. It says that editing bookmarks.html won't work. I need to get my IE bookmarks set up the way I like them. They were automatically imported to an "Imported Bookmarks" folder, but I want them out of the folder. Then I accidentally deleted them and can't get them back. What do I do? -tew

Hi Ramona,
I never seen you use Cherokee as your user name before.

Hi tewetzel,
Bookmarks are edited within the browser.
Click on the Bookmarks tab, then "Manage Bookmarks". There you can create new folders, etc.
Now, if you have deleted your Bookmarks, I'm afraid there's not much you can do, unless you have a backup.
