Lost file mrci.vxd
HELP!!!! I've lost the file mrci.vxd from my windows directory. Computer will not boot. Says File lost or corrupted or system low on memory. System memory is not the problem. No new programs have been installed. Ran fine yesterday... Reboot today nothing.

Try this, it works for some. Boot to DOS and type the following six
commands, (pressing [Enter] after each):
c:\windows\system\attrib -r -s -h c:\dblspace.bin
c:\windows\system\attrib -r -s -h c:\drvspace.bin
ren c:\dblspace.bin dblspace.old
ren c:\drvspace.bin drvspace.old
c:\windows\system\attrib +r +s +h c:\dblspace.old
c:\windows\system\attrib +r +s +h c:\drvspace.old
Now try rebooting into Windows.
