desktop icons

Hi:

I have noticed that all the desktop icons on my Windows NT machine have the same symbol. First it was the symbol for the excel spread sheet and now it is the "gear". I don't remember doing anything that would cause that, where can I begin to look. thanks

Not sure of the exact problem you are having, but you might want to check out

In that article it mentioned specific icons that were affected which are all right on my desktop, all the other icons are affected.Thanks
